The Upper Sangamon River Conservancy Welcomes You!

The Upper Sangamon River Conservancy is a group of volunteers who are passionate about the Sangamon River in Champaign County. Our organization engages in activities from river clean-ups, to river monitoring, and to providing a resource for anyone interested in finding out more about our Sangamon River.
Our focus is on the river as it curves through the Northwest part of Champaign County, and through Mahomet, Illinois.
Our organization views the river as an asset to all of the members of our community and for anyone who is concerned with, or simply enjoys, central Illinois waterways.
